“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
— Mark Twain
I’m registered for courses at C.S.U. for spring semester, which begins in January. I’m looking forward to continuing the next phase of my continuing education. Along with my Master’s, I’ll be getting my teaching license.
I also got a letter regarding housing. There’s a unit opening, but I’m supposed to wait for the contact to call me, rather than simply show up to look at the apartment. I just hope the neighborhood isn’t too bad.
On a more negative note, my landlord-roommate has yet to go into alcohol rehab. I’m disappointed but not surprised. He has to want to quit drinking, and no one can make him want to quit except him.
